The Sanctuary of Saint Nimatullah Hardini is located within the Monastery of Saints Cyprian and Justina in Kfifan, where the saint was ordained to the priesthood in 1833 and later served as director of the seminary, personally teaching the young monk who would become Saint Charbel Makhlouf. Born in nearby Hardin in 1808, Nimatullah died here on December 14, 1858, holding an icon of the Virgin Mary. When his tomb was reopened in 1864, his body was found incorrupt and continues to be venerated at the monastery today. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1998 and canonized in 2004 following the recognition of miracles attributed to his intercession. Known as the "Saint of Kfifan," he remains one of the Maronite Church's most beloved saints, and his feast is celebrated each year on December 14.
