Our Lady of Bsharri Church is a Maronite church in the heart of Bsharri, standing beside Saint Saba Cathedral and overlooking the Qadisha Valley, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the title of the Assumption, the church celebrates its principal feast on August 15. Bsharri, the birthplace of Kahlil Gibran and the gateway to the Cedars of God, is renowned for its rich Christian heritage and the many historic monasteries that dot the Qadisha Valley.
