Our Lady of the Assumption Church is a Melkite Greek Catholic church in the mountain resort village of Saoufar. Dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, recently restored and reopened after damage sustained during Lebanon's Mountain War. Saoufar sits in the Aley highlands, long favored as a cool summer retreat.
