About this site

Saint Saviour Convent is a Melkite Greek Catholic convent in Sarba, Keserwan, motherhouse of the Basilian Alepian Order. Dedicated to Christ the Saviour, it trains Melkite clergy and houses the order's senior monks. Sarba rises above the Bay of Jounieh, its convent built over the remains of a Roman temple, facing the Our Lady of Lebanon shrine across the water.
