About this site

Saint Michael Monastery is a Maronite monastery in Bnabil, Metn District, founded in the 17th century. Dedicated to the Archangel Michael, leader of the heavenly armies and one of the most venerated figures in the Maronite Church. Bnabil sits in the green hills of the Metn overlooking the Beirut-Tripoli corridor, its village even taking its name from the monastery.
