Saint Charbel Church (Zouk Mosbeh)

Saint Charbel Church is a Maronite church in the Adonis area of Zouk Mosbeh, in the Keserwan District of Mount Lebanon, and is part of the Zouk Mosbeh parish, whose mother church is Our Lady of the Rosary. It is dedicated to Saint Charbel Makhlouf, the 19th-century hermit of the Lebanese Maronite Order and one of Lebanon's most beloved saints, and is considered by many in the parish to be among the first churches dedicated to him. The church was built with the support of the parish endowment committee and its parishioners, and serves a community whose families come from many regions of Lebanon. In 2019, Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rai, who had once served in the Zouk Mosbeh parish, visited the church during a pastoral visit to the town, unveiling a memorial to Saint Charbel near its entrance road.
